It is important to remember that Melanomas can occur on any part of your body, not just where you have had sun exposure.

THE FEE FOR AN INITIAL WHOLE BODY SCREENING IS $250.

(For children up to 12 years old the fee will vary depending on time taken)

Plus a doctor’s fee that will be covered by Medicare rebate.

This service includes:

  • Photo mapping of the body
  • Scanning of moles (Pictures of abnormal moles will be stored in the computer for future review)

Please Note: For the majority of people the time allowed for a whole body screening is adequate, however there will be a number of people for whom the screening process will take longer (those who have Dysplastic Nevus Syndrome in particular). It may be necessary to make another appointment to complete the screening. The fee will be calculated at $110 per hour or part thereof after the initial hour of screening.
